Bamboo & wattle and daub workshop for the construction crew of House Louisana

The construction crew of House Louisana was composed by unskilled and skilled workers but none had previously worked with bamboo or wattle and daub.
wattle and daub and consists of a wide grid on each side of the wall - in this case we used bamboo stripes - that sandwich a mix of soil With natural fibers. OFICINA held a theoretical and practical workshop during the construction. These people have now a new set of skills that are extremely useful in a country where bamboo construction is becoming increasingly desirable. During this period OFICINA also hosted site visits and taught basic construction principles to kids of Cormiers and nearby villages.
